I want it to leak so I can hear it but I also don't want it to leak because I want them to have the strongest sales possible!

 

Record stores always play new albums throughout the store. They're showing of the album as well as speakers and whatnot. It's very reasonable to assume they'll keep a "store copy" of the album, and they could play it early, just maybe not publicly until July 1st. So yea, I'm inclined to believe this guy is spinning it right now. It likely won't go beyond that though.

 

Seriously; if I worked at a record store and got it, you bet I would listen. I'd have tested the waters with a smaller release first.

 

comes out on Canada Day tho. Proud to be Canadian. But I wonder if the band realized that every store is closed on that day and there would be no way to get physical copy until the 2nd. Unless, of course, you had pre-ordered from Amazon or any other online stores.

i can't imagine that they'll release it before the album is out. especially since the BTD video isn't even out yet.

 

Ugh, they should at least throw out another song before the release next week, the hype for this is killing me!

I'm impatient too for this trust me. But I don't want it to leak because I want that release day experience and for them to get sales. And I don't want any new songs because when we do finally get the album that'd be 3(5 if you count joke songs) that we already know. That's no good.

 

We are so close.

 

Yeah I don't need anything else before July 1st. It's close enough now that I can wait to hear as much of the album as I can on first listen. Guessing they release the music video a few days before the album or maybe the day of?

 

if this leaks this week, i might cave... i don't want to stay away from here and the dark pits of reddit for 11 days!

i can't believe Blink finally followed through and is releasing a brand new album like they said they would!

 

I won't cave but I'll be vacating the thread until release day. Maybe if it leaks blink will just say "fuck it" and give the people who preordered their digital downloads.
