    Right after Daedalus tonight:

Eddie: So, I want to say happy Father's Day to everyone...

Dustin: You picked the most morbid song to say that.

    That part cracked me up

    lolz.

I wish they had spoken for just a minute or two more onstage at the NJ date, they didn't really get too much interaction going with the crowd as far as banter goes.

@Iago just had Dustin talk to me on the phone because he was at the venue after the concert, and I literally panicked, wished him a Happy Father's Day and said I love their music. That was the last person I ever expected to be on the other end of the phone.

Wtf. How did that happen. Do tell.

Iago was at the concert in Boston tonight, and apparently Dustin was hanging outside the venue afterwards. So he chatted him up, and put him on the phone with me for a quick second. That was such a great moment, especially since I paused TBEITBN to answer the phone.

Yeah! I waited outside the venue to meet the band and only Dustin came out to see me and like 12 other people. I went up to him, shook his hand and told him happy Father's Day and good job on Thrice being back better than ever. Then I took a picture with him with the assistance of a couple who I took a picture for earlier (returning the favor!) and then I asked him if it was okay if I put my buddy on the phone for him to say hi to, since he wasn't able to make it to the concert when the band came by his state. Dustin said sure thing and I put @Jose on the phone.

Dustin is such a great guy. He gave another fan a good bear hug. It was emotional. This concert has been the best one I've been to thus far and it kindled an even bigger love for the band. The songs were so diverse and powerful. You could honestly feel the amount of energy in the room!

I waited until 1:45am outside Starland hoping this would happen.

The band never came out. It's an entitled thing to hope for, but I still left feeling pretty crushed.

    That's unfortunate ):

The concert ended at about 10:20 and I stayed until 11:20. Luckily, I was about to head out, because even though I really wanted to test my luck, I was nearing dangerously close to missing the last train back home (have to take two, so I have to consider the wait for both of them when factoring it all in). I had 2 minutes left on my "Okay, Iago. You tried" clock and Dustin came out to say hi. I was really fortunate that I was one of the first people to see him too, as I got to say what I wanted to say and get out as quickly as I could. Wish I could've chatted for a bit more, though. I wanted to ask him some music stuff like what's his favorite Thrice closer or something cool like that.

I was once at the same party as Dustin and Teppei. Dustin drank out of a giant water jug all night (which he carried around). Teppei sat in the same chair, cross-legged, all night.

I really want to meet Riley some day. I might not like baseball, but he's probably my favorite drummer that I've ever listened to at this point.

Met Dustin at a show he did opening for Tom Morello during the Please Come Home run. His parents were there too. They were all so humble and nice. It was really awesome.

Was also fortunate enough to meet the entire band on the Taste of Chaos tour, but it was at an autograph signing so there wasn't much interaction.

I love you bud but this is a bad post. Those 3 songs you mention (In Years to Come, Stare at the Sun, and All That's Left) are three of Thrice's best songs.

There is a tour setlist forum where there is an active thread on this tour. These posts in the album discussion thread are unnecessary.

On my way home, I was listening to Thrice and I realized that Hurricane and Anthology are among my favorite Thrice songs. Add Circles, Stand and Feel Your Worth, and At The Last and that rounds out my top 5. I really like Atlantic and Yellow Belly too (and the rest of their discography, I mean, let's be real here).

EDIT: I forgot Salt and Shadow. That's definitely a top tier song for me. This is too hard, I give up!

Trying to come up with a top 5 is really difficult. My two favorite songs are pretty easy: For Miles and Beggars. I think the next two are also pretty much locked in: Trust and Daedalus. Coming up with that fifth song is basically impossible haha. Basically, it is "whatever song I am listening to at the moment."

    1. Red Sky
    2. Beggars
    3. Daedalus
    4. Of Dust and Nations
    5. Words in the Water

If I HAD to choose. Circles is definitely way up there on my list of favorites, as is For Miles. I could make an alternate top five that's just as valid.

Thrice Setlist Update for 6/19 (Boston)

No surprises as Daedalus returned. Beggars was played in its place on 6/18 for only the second time this tour.

Stay With Me and Yellow Belly, which replaced Treading Paper and Anthology early in the tour, have been played 9 times to the latter's 5.
