Tom does have a unique voice live, yes, but that's probably in part to how he's always hammered on stage. Matt's voice would be pretty "unique" too if he was drunk off of his ass. Matt's live performance isn't gonna be flawless. He hasn't been with the band too long, and didn't write the songs, so playing them is different for him. People need to give him more slack. He's definitely trying though, and adds some fun aspects to the music live.

 

Matt sounds fine, even great on some parts. It's clear he's giving it his all. Everyone makes mistakes, and Tom, Mark and Matt sound much different than they did ten years ago. I'm someone who likes performances a little rougher, a little more human. The only problems I have with recent performances are the backing tracks.

 

With each and every song.... I just keep thinking....

Travis. Is. Intense.

Unreal drumming... Is it just him, or is <EVERY> drummer as intense? There's just <no> way.

Wow.

 

I like them using backing tracks like piano parts and a second guitar so the songs sound fuller. What I don't get is why they still use a backing lead guitar track. I thought that was a Tom thing, being a sloppy player lol, the guy even had his vocal tracks on the main sound, maybe as a guide, but it was super weird hearing them on the pro shots combined with his actual voice.. But yeah, Skiba's playing is on point, no need for a lead guitar track that is the same as what he plays.

 

Yikes. That was painful haha.

 

How about that first group of songs they wrote were into Untitled/Babylon/Kuts and Feldman made them do more catchy/happy/classic blink album....ugh conspiracy theory

 

Up All Night sounds the worst from the Firefly performance.

I'd rather Matt fuck up giving it his all, the man is going out throwing his heart and soul into these shows and some people still need to complain. Tom was the laziest fucking turd on stage.

 

The record will leak any day now if stores are already receiving copies.

I'm still skeptical. I haven't seen a good old fashioned early leak in quite awhile. But I might have only kept about four albums over the last six months on my 'hasitleaked' radar.

 

My record store receives copies early as well, as soon as they get them they put them out.

 

Yeah most albums don't really leak early anymore. I can't remember the last time I got an album more than a few days before release.

I think the last album I had on leak alert was Weezer's White Album, and that leaked the day before release, if I recall correctly. Granted, half the album was already released by the band at that point. Anyway, it's been a long time since I've seen an album truly leak weeks in advance. I'm still thinking that blink's album doesn't leak until some time next week.

 

Lol I know I noticed that. There must be like, extra cursing or something.

 

Hopefully the sticker is just on the packaging and not actually on the case permanently

Just as an aside I have always hated the cardboard CD cases. Give me a good jewel case anyday. Or a cardboard with plastic CD holder csse

 

iTunes says the only explicit song is Rabbit Hole, so who knows!
