Also @ComedownMachine would just like to say before I go to bed that I used to work at a place where I met a lot of absent father's due to drugs (your situation is a little different) but the one thing they had in common as they were trying to get their life back together is they wish their kids knew how damn sorry they are and how much they want to be a real parent to them. All of them. It was the top thing they would be concerned about. I'm sure you father feels the same way.

I'm touchy on this subject I guess just after losing my father who I was very close with, my relationship with him was unlike anything else I'll ever have in life. So, you never know, I hope the best for you and him.

It's nice that he sends you letters and wants to be involved but ultimately it's your choice. Do whatever feels right for you. My dad was an alcoholic/drug addict and I cut off contact for a long time because he made me very sick. Now I am good and have a great relationship with my dad but I won't lie and say it doesn't feel like at any moment we could go back to how it was. But I had to get right on my own and make those decisions for myself.

So yeah hope it goes well for you.

Dominos

They have gluten free pizza, normally we just make a GF frozen pizza at home every Monday night but our stove/oven is fucked up so we couldn't this week

I used to not like Dominos but had it the other week at @ChaseTx's and enjoyed it and after yesterday I can fully confirm that it is a passable chain

 

Dominos is a staple every Thursday night in my house.

 

Domino's is somewhere between fine and good, only problem is that they can't keep it consistent for some reason.
