Not really. I could see the deal turning sour if there are back-to-back losing seasons or something. LA can have him.

I think the Phils will be a pretty solid team as they stand now and won't be too broken up if it doesn't happen, but I absolutely want them to sign Harper

Yeah I suppose money isn't the most important in baseball with there being no salary cap. Every annoying talking head says Harper is all hype, i've been away from baseball for a few years and am gonna start watching the Phils again this year so I really am not sure what Harper truly is.

 

He is up and down, but when he's up he's an MVP candidate.

Considering the Phillies have spent less money in the last 5 years than I have, I don't care if they give him a billion dollars lol

Harper bottoms out as an All-Star 3-4 win player and can reach Top 3-5 player any year, like in 2015 when he was as good as Trout.
