They might but the cap for the first show is 16 000 which is a lot, so probably not.

 

My friend said she heard a rumor of dual shows in each city. One each for full album shows for Crisis and Watch Out.

If that is the case, that would be awesome because, Crisis is in my top 10 albums of all-time but I just wish they would have told us before buying the tickets.

 

This would be unreal, expensive but unreal.

 

If that's true I hope June 15th is Crisis

 

Although that would be amazing if they played those two albums on back to back nights in each city I'd be really frustrated. The promotion around the show in Los Angeles mentions nothing about playing full albums, and I really don't want to have to track down tickets to another night if the night for which I have tickets (the only announced date) isn't for the album I'd prefer.

On the other hand, its a huge privilege to see AoF and I'll be happy to see them play any songs/album they choose. But Crisis is one of my all time favorite albums, and if they do play one album front to back I hope it's that one.

 

I feel the same way. Plus I really want to hear Young Cardinals and Dog's Blood live. Maybe they will be like Thursday. Do a round of generic return shows and then a full album mini tour. They did two night in the same city for Full Collapse and WATT in LA, Chicago, and NYC. Here's hoping we get the chance for something like that. But I am excited to get anything from them.

 

I don't think they'll be performing any full albums. They're just not that kind of band. Especially as these shows are in support of new music.

 

2nd TO show added

 

I'm actually surprised they are adding a second TO date. the last Canadian band to play that venue on back to back nights was City and Colour, pretty funny. Needless to say, I'll be buying tickets for the Sunday as well.

 

@redwing91007 Totally random but I'm going to Toronto for the night to see a podcast at the Sony Centre and staying at a hotel in Nathan Phillips Square. Do you know any good food in that area?

 

I'm not from Toronto but I've been many times so I might not have as much insight as someone who actually lives there. You're staying in the heart of Downtown and there are TONS of great options around.

Sorry I'm not much help, but if you come to Montreal I'll make sure you're well fed!

I was at the first City & Colour show when that happened. C&C and Shakey Graves were both incredible live. It was still the Molson Canadian Amplitheatre then.

nathen philips / walk south to king street where the good stuff is:

kiin is prob my fav resurtant in city but can be a tad pricey.
Khao San Road.
Bar Hop (great food (vegan options included) and beer)
Bah mi Boys (10/15 min walk west of natahn philip, but #1 comfort food in toronto)

tbh just do sukothai before going to sony centre, its the best.

I haven’t read through all the recent posts here but any guesses who will open the shows? Specifically the Toronto ones? I got pit tickets for the Saturday, stoked for this!
