We had 8 pages of tour prediction and opinion thread today

It’s all about the ADTR tour date bullshit

 

Probably the only big tour those three bands will ever get on. Any band that chooses to tour with AILD will get blacklisted by other bands/booking agents. Hope it was worth it!

 

My guess is the biggest tours they'll be getting on after that would be with attila/emmure, with the former having a draw that is getting bleaker each tour

Will they though? The metalcore community has handled this incredibly poorly. Erra is going on tour with WCAR/CTE, and Kingdom of Giants is on tour currently with Born of Osiria and Chelsea Grin. Plus Jake Luhrs has a well documented friendship with Tim. Unfortunately I think the anti-Tim people are the minority in this case. It would really take someone prominent within that scene saying "support for Tim is bullshit and here's why" for people to start actually giving a damn about the situation. I know Jamey Jasta said something about it, but I really think if Sam Carter spoke up on the situation people might actually care more.

 

I never understood the argument that warped tour doesn’t have many female bands. There aren’t many female bands that are in that scene to begin with, and most of the ones that are, are on warped. There aren’t many female bands, and a good portion aren’t very good, so it’s not a real wonder as to why many bands don’t tour with female bands

There's bad takes and then there's this. This is worse. For every Makeout that's been on Warped, that's a spot that could have gone to a band like Stand Atlantic or Eat Your Heart Out.

 

There are a metric shit ton of female bands in a shit ton of genres. You don't know many of them because of the misogynistic backward ass way the music industry works

So here’s a question with Tim and jake being good friends if abr goes on tour with them will their entire fan base all of a sudden hate them and not support them??? I think not they are way to big to lose support. Abr is the future and will still get tours regardless of who they end up touring with even if it’s with someone like as I lay dying

 

I'm a part of an ABR fan group on Facebook and I can guarantee you based on the countless AILD post in there they would little to no fans.
