I was gonna be mad about them for the tacos deal, but then I remembered they are from SoCal and are probably used to realllly good tacos.

The bass drum/ bass groove in the chorus of the long defeat might be my favorite thing ever

After seeing them live I think their producer did a great job of capturing what makes them great live on the record

Agreed. I think this album is the best production work they've had to date. Hope Palmquist is back for the next one.

This makes me really excited to see Thrice getting this recognition and being "more popular" in this moment than Volbeat, Five Finger Death Punch, Hellyeah, ect.....

Black Honey is now #1 on Sirius/XM Octane's Big 'Uns Countdown. (weekly top 15 hard rock songs)

I wanted to hear Beggars which I got, but they played it in place of Daedalus which may be my favorite song from them so oh well...

Changing the amps they normally use and blending several amp heads together was a huge boon.

    Random Question:

What album has your favorite "studio videos" pre-release?

I think mine would be The Alchemy Index.

Major/Minor was the first one I really followed their videos for, and I really enjoyed those.

Setlist Update as of June 18th's New Jersey Show:

Beggars replaced Daedalus for the second time this tour.

Stay With Me and Yellow Belly continue to displace Treading Paper and Anthology which were played during the first week of shows.

Other than that, the setlist has remained the same all tour.

Sarcastic because I think your posts about their setlists every night are really unnecessary at this point.

Ever since the concert on Wednesday I fell more in love with this band, if that was even possible. The concert was just a great reminder of the amazing amount of high quality releases they have put out. Just being in that crowd, singing along every lyric with everyone is a testament to how much this band means to a lot of people. I'm almost 30 and I honestly do not think this feeling about this band will ever go away for me.

God forbid should somebody keep the conversation going in relation to the band's first album cycle in 5 years and their first setlist in the TBEItBN era.

And for followers of this thread, they seem to like knowing what they can anticipate if they're attending an upcoming show still.

Since your local show has come and gone, I get that it's no longer of interest to you. however, you don't represent the majority.

Somebody before the tour said to spoiler tag any mention of their setlists or to post them in the tour forum so that people who were at a later date could keep the surprise. So, you're wrong, not everybody wants to know, yet you keep posting like everyone does.

I don't even think I was that interested in knowing the setlists or changes to begin with after the first day of the tour. I am aware that I do not represent everyone, but I am going to say something about it because it's irritating to see practically every single day in this thread.

If you want to keep conversation going, that's fine, but you can do it in far more productive and conversational ways than making posts about their setlist practically, if not actually, every show they play.

    Hey Guys,

Is the Reddit AmA featuring my favorite band worth reading? I'd appreciate a brief synopsis and a few points that might convince me to make such a commitment.

    Thanks in advance!

If that's how you're going to be then I'm just going to bow out of this one. Keep up the great posts though.
