are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

well, i mean, it's at least good to know that there are another couple bands i can write off if they're willing to give tacit support to tim lambesis. *shrug*

I know everyone on here hates AILD but that tour is one of the best things to happen to Phinehas. Theyve been getting support slots to play to half empty dive bars for at least a decade by now. They are obviously incredibly influenced by AILD and will definitely win a lot of fans on this tour.

So to the Slaves thing, does this mean Matt McAndrew is officially their new lead singer? Or is there someone based in the US who they’re sitting on? (Or do they even have one yet?)

it's okay, bro. we get it. they're a rad bunch of dudes who have no problem taking a tour offer that equals GREAT SUCCESS even if it means supporting a dude-bro who put a hit out on his ex-wife.

So this tour is essentially just a deceiver tour a year early but explained in such a way to not seem like a cash grab. “We are gonna play all the old stuff you love, but then we will play all of deceiver for you next year and then life cycles in 2022! Don’t worry stick with us!”

Palisades is bigger then Slaves? I know neither band has a big following but I thought Slaves was bigger

I saw them back in September with the word alive in reading and there was like 3 full rows of people with a handful of people scattered by the bar, this was a Friday night too so the turn out was pretty bad

Palisades has Octane, the pandora radio rock channels and some radio play, they crossed over into that genre.

Their new album is getting a lot of play on Octane.

Plus Slaves without Jonny probably isn't much of a draw for people into that scene

BTF and TWA are bad bands whose style of metalcore has aged like milk and people wonder why they can't draw anymore

So excited for that As I Lay Dying tour! Proud to support all the good Tim Lambesis has done this past year.

Huge for Phinehas, they’ve deserved a break like this for some time.
