idk. looking at the free agents who signed this year, a lot of them are making serious bank. Yeah the long term contracts werent as prevalent as only four players signed for more than 3 years...but the money is there

The system still needs to be reworked so young players get paid sooner.

This doesn’t change anything lol. Players are producing more while younger. They should get paid, not waiting til they’re on the other side of the mountain when teams won’t pay for past performance
