as a Mets fan, after this offseason, I really cannot remember the last time I went into a season so completely, wildly unsure of the product they were going to deliver. usually you have some sense of how the season is likely to go, although of course anything can happen, but, for the life of me i cannot even begin to set an expectation for this team this season.

that said, i cannot wait for opening day.

 

Yeah the Mets (and to a lesser extent the Reds) are gloriously unpredictable experiments that could conceivably be bona fide contenders or finish 15 ames below .500 without it being weird.

 

Its gonna be one hell of a ride though

 

man the Brewers lineup is looking pretty potent

anytime you have a power hitter like Moose in the 7 spot is a huge advantage

I don't think I recall much about the last CBA process. It's crazy how fucked over they've let themselves get. I don't see how there isn't some lockout at least. Hopefully not too lengthy when the time comes. Just worries me how much casual fans are still on the owners side

Agreed. I would think that any deal Trout signs with the Angels wouldn't include a full no trade clause. With all of the talk recently it sounds like he at least keeps the possibility of playing for the home team open.

Well to me it comes down to what it always comes down to. Starters stay healthy and we rosario/conforto to somewhat live up to their hype (Alonso too). The acquisitions just need to be average
