This tour is nuts. Gonna try and hit up the LA show since it’s been 3 years since I’ve seen Coheed and I’ve been dying to see Mastodon for years. I’m still mad at myself for not making it out to that coheadliner they did with Primus last year

 

Goddamn. I would love to go to this, but why is it at Freedom Hill?

 

This is incredible.

 

Seriously. They're doing Crack the Skye in it's entirety and forcing them to do it at a shitty outdoor location.

 

The Minneapolis show is at a nice, huge venue that opened to host the Super Bowl concerts last year. Gonna be wild seeing ETID play the same room as Paramore and The 1975.

How's Mastodon live?

 

Fillmore would've been perfect. Shit, even Royal Oak Music Theatre. I don't care. I just don't wanna be at an outdoor venue with no pit for a lineup like this.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m excited for another Summer of MF10 posts and him saying how C&C is superior to every band and if you like either of these bands more you’re stupid.

Coheed, being my favorite band, has really been pushing summer amplitheaters... wish it was The Fillmore as well.

Sound great, but quite boring to watch. I say that as a massive Mastodon fan, though! The visuals they had going on with the Primus tour last year were a surefire trip though.

 

This rules out Coheed and ETID for Warped NJ - the LA/Phoenix dates are the same day as Warped in Atlantic City.

 

I saw him ask: “Who’s etid” and all I can see in my head is The Dark Knight “And here we go.” scene / gif. Lol

I highly doubt Coheed even considered Warped at all
