That double time pickup in God Botherer is incredible.

 

This whole album is incredible.

 

Just finished. Production on this was absolutely brilliant.

Feels like an extension to DEATH MAGIC but is overall more cohesive.

Solid 8.5/10 minimum

 

Listening to this and Xiu Xiu tomorrow is gonna make for a weird fucking morning I think

 

The new Xiu Xiu is a god damn Boschian nightmare, I love it

I liked some of this but it also felt very...safe. Lots of chugs and midtempo throbs. Wish it was all as chaotic as the first track. Sounds immaculate though.

God Botherer was dope

I’ve got no prior experience with this band so this isn’t to say they weren’t doing it first, but the vocals here sound so much like the vocals on that last Hundredth record. Absolutely not a bad thing, but yeah if you told me this was the same dude I’d believe you

THE MESSAGE is my jam. This is fantastic. Listened all day on repeat. Think as a whole it's on par w/ Get Color for me. Love how dark and industrial it feels. It sounds so good.

Personally my least favorite so far. I don’t like the middle eastern tinge of it

 

That's probably my favorite song too, and for that reason haha.
I think it's beautiful, especially that wordless vocal part. Very haunting.

 

Die Slow is one of the best songs ever.

 

These were my two favorites on my first run-through. Like Got-damn.
