I'm also interested. So far I don't think anything I have read is indefensible...

Is David Klion referring to what that Vixen person is saying about having her intern shave her legs...???

I can't find anything at all about that story searching online.....

  5. They seem to be referencing this story in this thread and the replies..

Oh okay. The throwing a binder and hitting someone seems more credible than the (apparently) completely unsubstantiated rumor that she made a staff person help her shave her legs. Whether she meant to hit the person is kind of irrelevant - if I were to get so upset in a meeting that I began yelling and hurling objects and one of the objects hit someone, it would not matter at all whether I meant to or not. The consequences would be the same.

  7. But leg shaving is probably what Klion is referencing. If that story ends up being true, that would be WILD

Okay, bear with me here. I am a nurse. Shaving someone else's legs for them doesn't immediately hit me with the exact same 'WTF?!??' that I think it does some other people. That being said, a staff member shaving their superior's legs for them would be completely and utterly inappropriate, whether they were 'forced' into it or whether they agreed willingly and happily. The leg shaving thing would be a tough one for her to explain.

Throwing a binder and hitting a subordinate - if true - could accurately be called abusive.

My big takeaway from this stuff has been that I had absolutely no idea what staffers jobs actually entailed. This kind of stuff sounds like the shenanigans some rich and famous celebrities subject their assistants to.

  9. I hope no one tries to defend any of this ... hahah ... it’s bad. More will be coming.

  10. I mean in any regular workplace that isn’t like healthcare related, shaving your bosses leg is ridiculously not okay.

Imagine if Biden had interns shaving his legs

Maybe Biden is just trying to shave (*rimshot*) a couple seconds off his 50m Butterfly don't judge

Also let's take a live look into Klobuchar's campaign launch:

Has anyone read this Richard Burr interview about the Senate intelligence investigation with CBS? There's some "holy shit" in it.

  15. I thought Republicans believed in small government ... hmm .. weird.

The "economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work" part was included in the FAQ text from AOC originally (which has since been taken down), and Tucker pressed on it multiple times more in the full interview and the guy kept saying it was not from them. Though I feel like what the most important thing to discuss is the official resolution, which does not include any of the "absurd" language the right keeps attacking.

But in regards to the unwilling to work statement, essentially what that really is saying is just having some form of a universal basic income, which I'm all for doing anyway. But of course, the right is just gonna take this slip up and run with it.

No, I get it - that's why I said 'bear with me', I meant just like hear me out for a sec. The shaving thing would be WILDLY inappropriate .
