Sink Into Me has one of the best vocal moments of any TBS song and it’s just that one part where Adam yells “all right!!”

 

This is literally the only part of the song I like haha. I think the rest of the song is the arguably the most boring (at least it’s inoffensive) in their discog and I’m shocked it made it to the record.

Anyways, my bottom 5:
Sad Savior. Every second of this song is ugly.

-sink into me was meh when I first heard it but now it makes me wanna stand on a bar counter and dance.
-You Can’t Like Back is great. If that songs a rip off then that’s how you do a friggin ripoff.
-DFATLF and BPTBAM are the only great songs on S/T.

I was always bored when listening to that song. It had been awhile since I’ve heard, checked it out last night, and my feelings are the same

 

Yeah I don't know why, but it's just so average to me. I always skip it. Hard to say it's my least favorite, though, it was tricky deciding through all of these

You Got Me and It Doesn't Feel A Thing are 100% deserving of bottom 5, though. Completely unlistenable

 

I'm surprised that anyone would dislike Carpathia or They Don't Have Any Friends, those are among my favorites.

Who said You Can't Look Back is a ripoff? Of what? I would think if anything, Tidal Wave sounds like a rip off of a song that I can't think of lol.

 

You Can't Look Back is basically Boys of Summer. Tidal Wave is basically Blitzkrieg Bop

 

I can definitely hear the latter, but I really can't hear any similarities between You Can't Look Back and Boys Of Summer, and I love both of those songs haha, weird. Can't think of a single similar vocal melody between them.

 

I thought of Boys of Summer the first time I heard YCLB haha

 

It's an extremely simple vocal melody, you could hardly call it a ripoff, imo.

 

Yeah I'm just curious for someone to point out specific spots in the songs that sound similar haha I definitely don't get it.

I almost put It Doesn't Feel a Thing like Falling in my bottom 5. That album alone has a lot of terrible songs.
