I miss the days of the first Team Fortess though, that was the only online shooter I was half decent at. 2fort. I miss 2fort.

The first thought I had when playing apex was shooting was perfect haha. Not too hard/easy. Kind of funny!

That being said idk if it makes a lot of sense to compare this to Titanfall seeing as the games are pretty different. Never played TF2, but I don’t remember abilities or anything in TF1, only the mechs

 

It’s basically a lot like titanfall 2 without double jump and wall run when it comes to your character.

I bet they’ll bring back wall running and double jump in an LTM. It will be crazy.

 

Did TF2 have abilities? I never got to play so I honestly don’t know. I like that you can run up walls and slide down hills though

 

Anyone ever use one of those elite controllers that have the like silver dpad and cost 3 times as much as a regular controller?

 

I want a Bioshock style battle-royale.

Ugh SAME. Fortnite was the first game to make me feel old and rusty in life.

BR interests me as a concept, but they all have turnoffs atm. PUBG costs money and is supposedly pure jank, i don’t like Fortnite’s building mechanics, you will never catch my ass dropping $60 on COD, and Apex is squad based and i don’t want to have to coordinate with friends to enjoy it because our schedules clash like crazy.

my goal is to basically not touch “live” games anymore. i wanna play as many as i can in the time i have instead of spending 400 hours on one trying for skins or other such things.

 

COD is on sale for 30 bucks on the reg. JS, JS.

 

still too much for a game that will be trash bucket worthless come November. maybe that’ll be different this time because of Blackout but i’d be shocked if this year’s game didn’t have a BR of its own that will cause an exodus.

 

Squadding with randos in Apex is not bad. I played a bunch last night all with random people and had a great time, even without voice communication due to the in game ping system.

 

Duty doesn't interest me anymore, but Battlefield does. I gave up on Fortnite after about a month.

 

The fact that the map in apex has a name makes me hopeful that they already have plans to release other maps
