Prada just did a 10 year tour for With Roots a year early and I'd say TDWP are easily bigger than TWA. I could absolutely seeing them jumping the gun.

if i’m wrong i’ll be okay with it, but they aren’t that band. they literally put out an album less than a year ago, they haven’t even done a proper headlining tour in support of it. they’ve done one support tour since it came out. i can’t see them saying “let’s tour deceiver a year early and say fuck our new album!”.

prada’s last record come out in 2016 i believe.. it’s 2019. they were probably done with their touring cycle for that album and are probably gearing up to release a new one this year which is why they went ahead and knocked it out.

like i said, if i’m wrong i’ll eat my words but I don’t think it’s happening.

It's also an album that bombed commercially so forgive everyone for thinking this could be a possibility a year later.

Neither have I, but apparently they have quite the following. They have a little more monthly Spotify listeners than Frank does and have several songs in the 5 million+ plays department. I gave them a listen and they aren't my cup of tea. My friend best described them as The White Stripes meet Dolly Parton. He said they put on a good live show. I had never heard of Trapper Schoepp either, but he's got some good tunes. Either way it's Frank and I am excited as always. I heard a rumor that he may not do much in the US in 2019, so this was a good surprise.
