Yeah I really have no idea about what it's supposed to mean haha

 

I thought it meant Microsoft is releasing software to make cross platform much easier to develop for while also having Microsoft profile incentives.

I’m probably far off tho.

 

all I know is I have an Xbox and a Switch, that’s about it.

 

It is crazy. I don't understand how people aren't seeing what this means going forward. Microsoft has said going into the future they want to eliminate "console generations" and wants people to be able to experience games on any device they have. It is a step to breaking down the barriers of needing a specific console to play with your friends or play certain games.

Also, what's even more exciting is what this means for Nintendo. Nintendo has a very strange history with other companies and third party support. This and their partnership with Ubisoft to use Nintendo characters is huge. Trying to modernize their company will hopefully lead to a better online infrastructure on Switch and lead to new projects and partnerships.

 

I mean, for Microsoft’s dream future to happen, a lot of other stuff has to happen. What is actually happening right now isn’t a lot. That’s what I mean. It’s a step for sure, but it’s going to take a lot of steps and might still not lead anywhere.

 

I disagree. Them pushing everyone in the direction into crossplay to the point where Sony had to cave in was a big step. If you add all these things together and their talks about creating a seemless gaming experience where you can even stream games onto your phone or whatever is awesome. I mean Switch even can stream games like RE7 in Japan. Teaming up with Microsoft is super intriguing.

 

If anyone wants to hit titanfall in 30 minutes on Xbox I’m down.

I don't usually care about BR, but I like Respawn so I might check it out.

The way they did the powers is well done. I’ve used that portal ability to allow my teammates to sneak behind people several times. Set a distraction with the mortar, set up the portal away from the action. Works every time
