I have gotten way better about getting blood drawn lately. I used to be a complete nightmare about it, now I'm just a complete nightmare about other things

 

Understandable that happens a lot for people I'm sure. Congrats on rehab tho, huge step!

 

In the theatre with my little cousins for Finding Dory. "Oh, it's so cute that you took the day off work to take your kids to see this movie!" Granted, they look like they could be mine/right age, but this housewife can stop talking now.

 

thank you!!! my detox period is just about over and im starting to feel pretty good and like 'myself' again.....opiates just put you an insane foggy state when you abuse them long term and i went pretty fucking hard for a good eight months. looking forward to starting the counseling and therapy and everything

Yeah, it's really really good. They didn't sound great when i saw them last year so i was reluctant to check it out.

 

2nd time today I was adjusting the way my pant leg sits at my shoe (this is something that consistently bugs me) and accidentally lowered my chair instantly, letting out an audible yelp.

I adjust my pant leg constantly. That is my life.

 

July is our hottest month and it's 105 today. I really need an oxygen tank it's so humid.

 

Speaking of blood tests, I had to get one recently because I was apparently being poisoned at my last few jobs:

I also worked at a plasma center for a bit and that one can be very sad too. Because if it doesn't work, and homeless people donating can't get the money they get so upset/violent/cry. I do however enjoy doing the process of it.

 

The one I go to is in a college town so most of the donors are students and some middle class older folks. I gotta wonder if there's anything bad about doing it, but I get $70 a week so I've been doing it for years

 

It feels like I live on the sun when I go outside. Humid summers are the worst.

 

What I was supposed to do today for my day off:
- go to bank
- buy groceries
- clean room
- find bday gift for mom and father's day gift for dad

What I have actually done with my day off so far:
- watch Jane the Virgin
- nap
