Played reaper and I got a 5 player kill streak, 3 was with the blossom ult. So fun xD. I switched to him after failing with support (team was running around sigh, I was left vulnerable to tracer and Widowmaker often), and then we managed to push but still couldn't get the payload in time.

I also just got three wins in a row by filling the necessary roles instead of playing who I wanted to and got post game cards in each. D. Va (11 player kill streak), Lucio (2:27 objective time), and symmetra (10 sentry turret kills).

 

using reaper teleport ability and ult together perfectly is so much fun. Especially when you are able to get behind enemy lines for it.

 

I played on Dorado yesterday and we were defending. We had about 30 seconds to go and they were really pushing the payload. Was playing as Zarya (as per usual), came out of spawn and there was 3 of them moving the payload. I don't think that's too bad but little do I know, my team are no where to be found, and somehow are almost outside of the building where the end of the second checkpoint is... I literally got obliterated and had a mixture of ????? and !!!!!, pretty sure one or two of their team was distracting us as no one was trying to stop the payload lol. Got best objective time with like 30 seconds.

Guess DOTA never broke out in the Korean scene huh? Mostly EU/China?

 

That's actually insane. Game was just so well hyped it was unreal.

Try going into network settings and testing your connection? Also if possible connect via ethernet instead of wifi because wifi isn't great on PS4 even if you have a good connection.

 

The ethernet thing I've heard makes a huge difference compared to wifi. Go with ethernet if at all possible.

I'm finally back at 50% winrate, only took me 630 games...

Is there anywhere I can see how I'm doing on specific maps/games? That's like the one thing Master Overwatch is missing. I'm convinced that I have the worst record on King's End.

So I have been branching out a bit and playing as characters I am less familiar with.

I've been getting a lot of mileage out of builders like Symmetra and Tor. But I am still absolute rubbish with most of the offensive characters. I don't know why, but I just can't get any traction and my w/l rate is comically bad.

Maybe I will have to watch some guides or something.

 

I cant do offense at all. Tor i've gotten pretty good with. I think i had 30 eliminations one game. Symmetra is going to be my new try out.

 

She is a lot of fun, I've found. Playing her has made me think of maps differently.

 

Never take winrate personally, it's not your fault if you're with a bunch of COD people who would rather up their kill count than move the objective. Like when someone complains after a loss that they got 3 golds yet no obj time, like, wtf mate? Feel free to drop out of games if you feel like the comp is bad.

As for offensive players...start with soldier, easiest to learn and he's really built to master easily. Also consider a support player, specifically Lucio...i can play offensively with him and be healing my team the whole time, one of the strongest in the game.

 

I've got to try her. I feel like I'm not familiar enough with knowing the best choke points on all the maps yet. Though setting up turrets on the payload and objective alone can be pretty effective.

 

Yeah I can get 10+ kills easily with lucio but struggle with fully offensive heroes.

 

With offensive heroes, you try and get right into people's faces. Apart from maybe McCree, most of these are short range characters. You'll die lots with them but you can create a lot of distractions with them which can help the team immensely.

Just don't go off on your own when you're nowhere near the objective, that's the biggest peeve.

 

I'd say Pharrah is also mid-long range.
