I wish that were true but he's already got billions so book sales are barely going to make a dent in his net worth.

It only has 6 reviews on Amazon and is on only the "civics" best seller list. He can't even sell his shitty book.

 

I doubt he thinks he could win, but he can certainly play spoiler to anyone facing Trump. And I bet that is calculated.

I don't really go to Starbucks anymore since I left the job, but this is another good reason to never give them a cent. It's a fucking disgrace, and then to pretend like you're some progressive martyr because you gave employees health care before it was cool. Maybe the guy had good intentions in the 90's, idk. But I can personally speak to the 10 years I watched Starbucks become a shell of itself so you don't really get to act like you speak for the working class from your pile of money, Howard.

 

Agreed. But then I don't understand why he drummed up "hype" and all but announced a run, only to dial it back and say that an announcement won't come until the summer/fall? Something's grifty.

I saw some tweet fly by yesterday by how that's probably true, and they have people telling them it's true, even though historically Trump was the anomaly and most people just burn money after these vanity runs.

 

All Starbucks store managers got a copy of Schultz’s book to share with our teams...ugh

 

I also saw that they're getting notes on how to deal with customers asking/getting mad about him.

 

Thankfully the local shop I love is finally back after a fire in a unit above them shut them down for like 4 months. Whew.
