I decided to play abzu because quick easy game and that was orettt fun. It made me want to go to an aquarium.

 

I think the most unfortunate thing about that game is that it went under the radar. It's not a mind-blowing 10 out of 10 game, but it's gorgeous and interesting and I think that if you have a few hours to kill, it's a game more people should check out.

 

finally able to settle in an apartment that would last me a year so I was able to boot up my ps4 pro again (mostly for anthem).

but i picked up where I left off in Nier. if anyone told me it combined a lot of my favorite genres into 1 seamless game i would have been all over this when it released. i thought it was just a straightforward action game. it’s so so goood

Me too lol. I apparently have logged 37 hours into it so far, substantially more than I ever expected in a Smash Bros campaign, and I just got to the third map after you fight the dark version of the main boss

 

i am convinced the play time counter is bugged, it had me at like 25 hours after clearing like 125 spaces. now i’m at like 250 spaces and 32 hours. doesn’t add up

 

Abzu is a gem. Loved that game.

 

Would you say people should...ahem...Abzulutely play it?

I was about to say so Kingdom Hearts 3 just got a perfect score wow so great

 

Most underrated movie to the point that everyone knows it's underrated and it's STILL underrated

I don't think it's underrated at all. I think it's overlooked in comparison to their other films, but that's about it.

 

Overlooked = underrated IMO

I was at the goodwill the other day and they had vhs copies of the goofy movie and an extremely goofy movie. It was cool.

 

I understand what you're saying, but they aren't the same or at least aren't mutually exclusive.

There are ton of 10/10 games out there and 4 star movies or whatever, but just because they got lost in the shuffle or forgotten or what-have-you doesn't make them underrated.

A prime example of this off the top of my head is something like CROSSCODE or Sports Night. Both great pieces of media that were well praised, but just passed over (thankfully CC is coming to Switch).

It's just the general conflation of the terms, which is what happens to language, but it's just something that bothers me. Especially about things like A Goofy Movie which actually totally had their day and is still talked about quite a bit (hence being popular enough to be the topic of that article) so I dislike the conflation.

 

I absolutely think that makes them underrated. If we don't look back and consider those 10/10 games with the Final Fantasy 7s or Ocarina Of Times (you know what I mean) of the world then I do think that is underrating those games, regardless of what score/star rating we give them when we finally think of them.

 

I realize that post will make me seem more like a giant tool and I accept that.
