I think it depends on what's on the sandwich. if it's creamcheese or soemthing that can squirt out when biting it's a hassle and 2 individual halves are better but if it's like a bacon, egg and cheese or something solid that isn't likely to leak then go for the sandwich.

I will never order a bagel out of my own fruition. They aren’t bad by any means, but there are so many things I love more.

 

bagels are good. if I'm eating it with cream cheese which I've been known to do it's going to be open faced. if it's not cream cheese based then eating it like a regular sandwich (closed faced?) is good.

 

A really good bagel is a beautiful thing. They are definitely hard to find though.
