I’m going to say Ilan Rubin is too busy to do an AvA record so Travis is going to drum on it.

OR there’s something going on with BCR maybe doing another album. Would be cool if the AVA record just turned into a new Box Car Racer album.

 

I think Travis just still has one of tom’s Gibsons at his studio.

 

I don't know much about guitar styles, what makes people think it's specifically Tom's

Came across this photo for the first time today. I was at this show. This was right at the end of my senior year of high school. One of my greatest high school memories/ experiences. Listening to BCR on headphones while I prep my podcast episode. It’s been a while but somehow this is better than I remember and I already hold it in high regard.

 

I guess they go for that Untitled sound too hard hahaha

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there was a pic awhile back with Tom's sig model hanging up on the wall of whoever's studio they were at. So I'm assuming this is the same guitar/studio.

Probably 0% chance. And WHILE blink is in the studio? Negative 50%

 

I would be completely and utterly shocked if Travis ever worked with Tom on something again while blink was still an active band. I know Travis will basically work with anyone but there was just too much baggage when he joined Box Car and there's literally zero upside for him to work with Tom and risk a potential issue with Mark/blink.

Yeah I shouldn't say 0% cause Travis is obviously still super friendly with Tom. But it definitely isn't happening at any point during the blink album cycle. And I mean he's doing AVA right now so when's the next time, in like 5 years?

Anyways hasn't that been Ilan in studio pics with Tom? I haven't scrutinized them to know really

Franky loves blink but this is the first time he's used them for a skate part. He's sponsored by Primitive boards which is P-Rod's company and one of the biggest/most popular in skating right now. This made my day lol

I'm recording a cover of "Josie" for my fiance's Valentines Day present, calling it "Jessie" and changing the words around a little to be about her. CUTE AF, RIGHT?! haha
