Yep. Haven’t seen Serg or Jeff since the NFG/TEN/Cartel/Hit the Lights tour.

 

I literally don't know what I have to do to get TEN back in the northwest.

 

at any nfg show I would assume 90%+ are adults, and most of those are over 25. even though nfg still has fans in "the scene" i think a big part of their draw are those 30 year olds who don't listen to that kind of music anymore, and live that normie 9-5 life, and then a couple times a year they'll go out with their friends to get nostalgic to nfg, or taking back sunday or hawthorne heights or whatever, get some drinks, party and lean into that early 00s nostalgia.

plus some venues factor in drink sales when negotiating guarantees. I don't know how liquor licenses work in all states, but in quebec, other than a few grandfathered venues, you basically have to be 18+, or A/A and dry. so if NFG is coming through town, that couple thousand you're netting from booze is going to factor into how much NFG can lock in as a guarantee.

 

The VIP page says the cassettes are being mailed out to be delivered on May 3rd so that's most likely the release date.

 

Yup! It now says "All merchandise besides the poster will be mailed to you on Album release date, May 3rd"

 

Jono Diener from The Swellers has been on drums the last couple of tours.

Fair, but in my city the vast majority of venues are AA that ID at the bar. The only exceptions are 21+ venues which ID at the door.

The only times when other age restrictions are imposed are for curfew reasons, or for moshing liability.

 

Would be surprised if he's on the entire thing though. That would require him to take a ton of time off from his full time job.

 

I know he was out with them on that Movielife tour a couple years ago and was out with them for part of the Dangerous Summer run last fall too.

 

Super stoked that the The Plot In You tour is hitting Tampa and I’m going to try to hit up that New Found Glory Orlando date.

Still dying for Ice Nine Kills... any speculation?

 

I mean that tour will probably be in July as it's when their only current upcoming tour/festival date is, so it'll probably be a few months till it's announced sadly.

 

Makes me real sad since they've been teasing it

Lol is Afterlife an actual band? I saw it somewhere on the ticket page and i thought it was Afterlife Productions, a company booking shows around Chicago
