I loved RE5. I always feel like that game got a lot of unfair criticism on the basis of the direction the series was moving in. It’s an action game, and it’s a good one at that.

 

i cant say much about re5 as a single player game since i beat it at the height of my re fanboyism and absolutely loved it then, but i played through it co-op with a friend later on and it was still a lot of fun.

 

Re5 is a very good action game, and is extremely fun in co-op.

I wish I could say the same about re6.

 

don’t like horror so never played a RE game but looked at some footage of the 2 remake and was pretty impressed

 

Get the remaster of REmake (Resident Evil), it’s pretty cheap nowadays and it’s a great intro to what RE is about. You can also download a one-shot demo of RE2 if you want to try it first.

 

I've also never played a RE game. Add that to the queue with Kingdom Hearts I guess

 

I wish Capcom put out a collection of the first three RE games

 

So besides the Switch I ended up getting Zelda BOTW, Mario Odyssey, LEGO DC Supervillains, and ordered another set of joycons today. Still have a bit of birthday money but thinking I should cool it on accessories/games for now

 

I’m struggling to get the hang of horizon a little bit. it seems a little daunting and overwhelming. think I’m just getting open world burn out from everything I’ve played recently. Putting it down for a few days to a week. So I’m finally starting the last of us

 

I’m like five minutes into TLOU and scared shitless and about to cry

 

When it came out on launch day I wanted every accessory. Every case, stand, bag. I mean it didn’t happen but I just wanted it all

 

Do you still play it regularly?

 

Pretty often. I haven’t played too recently though because my original broke and I got a new one but I haven’t really redownloaded everything and transferred things over. I still want to get the original fixed but I got a new one to hold my son over until I do.

 

Without the cartridge, video games wouldn’t have taken off.

I know it’s nearly impossible to explain to shareholders, but really what they should do is reduce the number of stores and make the ones that are left more flagship-store like

 

Gamestops are sad husks in my area. the preowned prices are ludicrously bad, especially in contrast to the three thriving independent game stores in my area that are much more competitive. all their novelty lies in the nerdy knick knacks which is funny because in my largest mall there is a ThinkGeek four doors down from them which scratches that itch much better (i know they’re the same ownership but still).

at this point GameStop is somewhere for me to snipe trade deals and nothing more

 

Won’t be around for too much longer it seems that’s where they’re heading.

 

I bought Sailor Moon Monopoly at Gamestop and that's the last time I've got anything from there in the past 8 years or so

 

I preordered RE2 at the closest GS to me and when I went in there, it felt like the majority of the store was devoted to Pop! figures and ThinkGeek stuff. It honestly bummed me out a little
