As a fellow Thrice fan, I love you but you listed a lot of songs I love haha. I think @Mike J 's list would probably kill me, but I'd love to see it.

I'm strange though and honestly consider Wake Up the only dud in their entire discography.

Haha when I say duds, I mean songs that are just alright to me. But for real, I appreciate everyone's opinions in here, though I may not agree with everything, one thing we can agree with is that this band is great.

I think the first 3 songs on Palms are ACTUALLY BAD whereas the rest of it is gorgeous and nice and experimental and everything I want from this band.

glad we got the recency bias thing cleared up then haha

In no universe is "The Grey" a bad song.

    Here's my list:

    Vheissu
    TAITA
    Beggars
    Illusion of Safety
    TBEITBN
    m/m
    Palms
    Identity Crisis

I've never given Alchemy Index the time of the day because it didn't grab me so I'll refrain from ranking it.

You don't think Only Us is experimental?

I dunno if it would open this thread up to an all out war, but what are everyone's least favorite Thrice tracks? Like list of 10 ten.

I think by Thrice standards it is. Or I'm just over "that sound".

It is but it's not gorgeous or nice -- to me haha. (Also I think going Stranger Things for a minute doesn't make it experimental.

are there any meaningful differences between Hold Up The Light single and album version?

They take out some of the times he repeats "hold up a light" and I think there are some other differences in the bridge, but nothing huge.

ah so it's not like when they re-mixed blood on the sand for the TBEITBN after the single sounded a bit whack.

I caught it on Spotify randomly and I'm not sure which one I like better. Probably the album version just because I've heard it so much, but I don't mind the change at all.

I posted this before but after spending more time with Palms i feel like TBEITBN is better in every way. Melodically, lyrically, sonically, etc. I miss the more directly political lyrics on songs like Blood on the Sand and Death from Above

The missing repetitions of "hold up a light" make it sound so awkward to me haha.

Just Breathe is such a masterpiece I can't even. The female vocals are also such a nice touch.

Me too at first, but I dunno, I can kinda see why they did it. It's still equally catchy to me, but in a different way. I can't explain it.

maybe they just had to shorten it a few seconds for the radio? probably not an artistic decision.

They’re the same length and the music is still there, literally just the vocals are missing.

I love this band but if I had to rank all songs, then these are my bottom 10...

    Listen Through Me
    Ultra Blue
    As The Crow Flies
A Living Dance Upon Dead Minds
    Everything Belongs
    In Your Hands
    Wake Up
    Hold Up A Light
    All That's Left
    Stay With Me

That was tough. But these are my least favorite Thrice songs. And I like them all fine, but in my opinion these are their least creative and least impactful tracks.
