only thing about horizon I’m not stoked on is the Ubisoft style map design at times

 

I suck hard at Resident Evil 2 but then again I think the introduction of Mr. X ruins the pacing of the whole thing. Already having to deal with numerous zombies and plenty of lickers, adding him into the equation just makes me feel like I have to rush everything as he just doesn't stop trying to find you.

 

I wanted to recommend this podcast to all of you a while ago, but I never got around to it. It's a podcast about the fascinating story (and mystery, depending on who you ask) behind Yume Nikki, a Japanese psychological horror indie game from 2003-2004 and arguably one of the earliest *modern* indie games (you might even call it a walking simulator, though it is a top down, pixelated game). The podcast itself is very well done and only 7 episodes long. It's really interesting.

Also, the game is available on Steam and has received a bad 3D remake that's also on Steam. There's also a browser version, if you look around a little.

 

Played this game for about 45 minutes last night and LOVED it. Turn based strategy games usually aren't my thing, but this is so well done and paced, I couldn't get enough.

 

So I got raped by a hillbilly in RDR2 last night....

 

Yep. I was baited into joining a hillbilly wearing overalls for dinner. He just opened the door, I walked in. He immediately knocked me out with a 2x4. In a hazy cutscene, he comforted me in that even though I put up a good fight, he subdued me successfully. Passed back out and woke up in the woods alone with no health or stamina left.

 

The fuck....I think that guy tried to bait me and I just was like "uh....no thanks?"

 

I was feeling adventurous. If I see him again though, I will tell him i'm not happy with our first date.

 

Is it on PS4 and how long has it been out?

I see that it is PS4. Anyone know why it’s only $35?

 

i got RE2 cause my cousin wanted to watch me stream it and i almost quit when they introduced the tyrant. i almost felt safe and thought i was brave enough to finish but i had to take a break. but i got the sherry's part so i'm excited to finish it

 

It's a smaller AA title probably reason for price. I don't think it's long. I think 8 or so hours maybe?

 

Ah okay. Trailer looked pretty cool.

 

I missed out on The Good Place talk. I have the biggest crush on D'arcy Carden.

 

Listened to the first two episodes over my lunch break and this is really good and interesting. Can’t wait to listen to more

Yeah it’s really well made. The only thing that bugs me a little that there is a hint of exoticization to many of those fandom theories and neither they nor the host seem to be aware of it.
