uh oh, the Simple Creatures song is growing on me

 

Ya...it did to me too. The fucking Na Na's are so catchy.

 

Yeah Drug is certainly a grower. Unfortunately it looks like new blink is coming later than i expected (Mark said spring summer or fall, which for blink usually means winter haha). But simple creatures will make the wait easier for sure.

 

So no summer co-headlining tour of ATL/Blink?

 

I'm super tired and it's very early and I cannot stop laughing at this post

 

Wasn’t that kind of the CA tour except it was ADTR as the main opener.

 

Blink were good on the CA tour but the crowd was awful.

 

“Drug” is definitely landing as a good one for me too. Still a bit on a the cheesy side, still not a fan of the Na Na part, but that chorus is money. At the very least, it’s got me really anxious to hear the rest.

 

I get so mad af Blink shows when they play something like “Don’t Leave Me” and some bro next to me yells to his friend “I DONT KNOW THIS SONG!” And then later during “All The Small Things” they’re laughing, belting it, and head banging off beat.

That shit happens every time I see them! Hahaha gahhhhh!!!

It’s like “why are you even here?!” and it also makes me mad because it’s those “fans” that are why Blink doesn’t go into deeper cuts live.

 

I’m still hoping for spring

 

Do you guys not know? It’s winter because it’s their dark album...

 

This is why I avoid the general admission lawn section at all costs.

Yeah. I like the hits from Blink. Because I can remember all the words, and my daughters that are with me know all the words. No. Im not singing Family Reunion with them, but I will sing, word for word, all the hit songs from the albums, and we will bond over them!

Yeah - Im one of <them> :)

And I love it.

 

I’ve never really had any shitty experiences with blink fans at shows even though I feel like they’d draw some people I wouldn’t want to stand next to for 1.5 hours. Guess I’m lucky.

 

I went to the California tour in NYC and shelled out the money for amazing seats. Everyone else around me seemed like die hard fans and it was a great experience.

2 months later I was in Cali and got lawn tickets for the Irvine show. A group of kids next to me started multiple fires throughout the set. Oh and on the way out a kid half my age tried to start a fight with me unprovoked.
Soooo in conclusion, the cheap seats at Blink shows draws the broke high school asshole kids. Save your pennies and join us grandpas on the floor.

 

Yeah when I had vip for Nashville the fans in the GA were astounding

 

I was up at the front for the untitled shoes and the crowd energy was amazing but they were a little too loud at times singing along haha

Never had an awful crowd with blink but definitely a ton of casuals. At least they were well behaved

 

I know I shit on California, and I do like certain songs off of it but man I refound my love for the deluxe songs. Those songs are so good.

 

I wish that tv show mark had pitched and wrote a theme song for had happened lol

 

That reminds me I used to love his talk show

@manoverboard365 I can confirm that Irvine lawn seat section for a Blink concert is a shitshow. I went to the Blink/Weezer tour there in the lawn section.... HOOObooyyy
