The singer Dan has written songs for Kylie Minogue, Carly Rae Jepsen, Rae Morris, Little Boots, and Sky Ferreira since the end of the band. Just learned this by skimming his instagram and wiki page, that's crazy! He's also part of one of Kimbra's finest ones, "Cameo Lover".

So my stupid self fell down the stairs leaving work last night. My right shin is black and blue and my whole body hurts. 35 and already a fall risk. someone get my room ready at the nursing home.

Oh and the guy who helped me up (after asking me if I was alright and I told him my pride was hurt more than anything at that moment) he's telling everyone about it.

Marketing guy comes in and says "Oh my god Julie, are you ok? I just heard"

I didn't break anything, wasn't bleeding...I'm just a little sore today.

the second I got home I iced my shin, took a hot shower and then more ice and early bedtime. I also had some THC Salve that a friend made for me a while ago and I put some of that on the bruise. I swear its the only reason I don't hurt that much today.
