Yea nihilist blues is cool

I'm not like, in absolute love with the record but it's pretty cool. Definitely does more than That's The Spirit, but I still liked That's The Spirit anyway so I can say I like this one a base amount already too. Definitely need more than one listen through, this seems like it'll be a grower on me.

 

Best song of the year so far that’s not by HEALTH.

About halfway through, I think I already like it more than TTS.

 

Nihilist Blues is pretty cool. I haven’t been into the other singles or the last album but I’m definitely going to give this a listen tomorrow. I’m interested in where they’re going.

 

Finished the album. I really enjoyed it. Will probably be spending some serious time with it over the next couple of weeks.

 

Most looking forward to hearing these ones, after reading your review! (They caught my attention when the tracklisting was posted, too).

Leak got removed and it's only a day away so I'm fine with waiting but damn Nihilist Blues is pretty dope! I cannot deny that. This record is already a lot better than That's The Spirit.

 

There's so many different sounds on the record, well done to BMTH for making it cohesive. On first listen the last 3 tracks are my faves. Gonna need some time to digest this record

 

BMTH stayed in Nashville and is doing a surprise signing of their new album this afternoon at a local record store. I’m going

 

Honestly, I think it may be the best song on the record. Kind of feels like a spiritual successor to "Oh No" to me. I never knew a song could mean so much to me so quickly but wow: the lyrics cut like a knife--
"I always knew this was gonna end in tears
Didn't think your wrists would keep a souvenir

 

honestly thinking 'nihilist blues' is my favorite so far..
