That does but seem like a game either of us would enjoy

 

Last time I played Overcooked was with my wife, her sister, and said sister's fiancé and we got so loud and aggressive shouting at each other that all three dogs hid under the kitchen table.

 

Lol I wasn't asking for their head on a stick, but complaining in a review in a AAA game about the lack of a feature that is actually there and not exactly hidden reeks of poor research.

Like I said, writing articles under a deadline sucks and having worked in journalism I know it's going to happen. There's no doubt about that, but given IGN's recent scandals, you would hope there's some fact checking on the editor's end at least.

I'm not gonna be an internet troll calling for the dissolution of IGN, I find gamer outrage culture totally insane, just pointing out it was a really dumb mistake and likely should have been caught before it was uploaded.

 

I mean, the guy basically based his score on a part of the game he didn’t even play fully, that’s pretty bad. It’d be like reviewing a movie but only the first act.

 

People make mistakes. He fixed it and apologized for it. It's not a big deal.

It's not like he plagiarized something like the guy who got canned from IGN.

for those unaware, THUG Pro exists. it’s a fan mod for THUG2 that incorporates all the levels from previous titles and allows for online multiplayer. not a very intensive game, can run it on my old laptop
