Funny how they are bringing in the guys from the company that was supposed to have failed every other month. Obviously it’s not their fault and they probably did more good than harm but from an outside view it’s kind of weird.

wow actually a lot of cool stuff in this. there's a bajillion of these type of videos but...
- Victoria got the widows peak, because molly holly saw RODERICK STRONG (14yo) doing it or something like that.
- victoria's babyface theme was Nicki Minaj?
- molly didnt like being a heel (you almost never hear anyone not liking being a heel)

also a lot of clips that bring a smile to your face. That 24/7 hardcore title stip was what made that era just so much fun. Those few small years when they actually had credible women wrestling too. Loved this era

The rumor is the government shutdown led them to not get their visas, thus making the shows shit/basically ROH

 

Dave had said a month or two ago that the plan was for it to be mostly dojo guys with a few full time guys. The cards were never going to be great, but the ticket holders really got fucked. It didn't sound like the shows were selling well either.

 

You'd think they would book some of the bigger ROH guys then. The Road to G1 shows are better than these NJPW shows

 

Looks like Bam Bam is the first name on the HOF lost this year

 

i would have to imagine that the NJPW cards are a mix of the visa issues and the original plan. i definitely didn’t expect supercards but i have a real hard time imagining that there were no plans for a couple of bigger stars to come over

I’ve never been to a ROH show so I’m okay with Nashville. Cabana, Scurl, Best Friends, Cobb!

But I get it. Not great New Japan talent.

 

a comment on that post mentioned how fucked the G1 MSG show could be if the shutdown doesn’t end within the next couple of months. would be a disaster.
