On slickdeals there's people that are building their movie collection for the 4th time.wasting ridiculous amounts of money

They had a vhs collection, then rebaihht rebought the DVD then the bluray now buying the 4k bluray

It's insane.

 

These are literally the only things you need to know about these movies. Check em off your lists now.

 

do they actually watch them, for me it's always like ooh this dvd is only $5 or $10 bucks and I never watch it

I always wonder this when I see people on YouTube with their collection of 500+ movies. Like, how many do you ever watch, and how many do you watch more than once? That’s kinda what I have to ask myself before I choose to buy movies now because my wife and I would just accumulate movies and watch most of them once when we bought it. Then we would probably return to some of them a handful of times.

I used to go crazy on Black Friday because I thought I was saving so much money, but I was really just buying things to take up shelf space that I didn’t really value as much as I thought when I was on a buying high lol.

We’ve slowly taken movies we haven’t watched in years off the shelves to sell and tend to just buy things with high rewatchability, movies that our 3 year old likes, and Criterion movies.

 

I'm going to need more details, but tell them to me slowly and in your best fish voice.

 

Can’t say I’m sold on either of these movies based on the descriptions. Is the Shape of the Water a porno or what?

 

Every time a family of 4 asks for 4 separate boxes to split their popcorn (which is extremely common) I just think “yeah, fuck the environment”

Like i really like my digital collection. It's great. Available on every one of my devices and I take it with me everywhere. Doesn't take up any space and can't be damaged by getting scratched.
