i've worked many years as a waitress, and it's really no hassle to split checks when you have a digital POS. even working manually, it's basic math... i would understand if you had like 20 people wanting to split checks.

 

I just don't get why anyone would assume that one person is going to pay for the bill in a group of clearly friends lol.

 

yeah it's gonna make it EXTREMELY complicated for a group of 6, or somewhat annoying for the 1 waiter.

At least now with Venmo, it's less complicated. But you still don't get the money immediately. I never carry cash, so that's always my problem.

I brought a salad for lunch, but my coworker wanted to go try steak n shake. i wanna nap now

 

I hardly ever ask to split a check cause usually the waiter asks us if we want to split it.

 

places in Dallas never wanna split checks. I'll be sitting with 4 other dudes and they pre emptively bring out the check with everyones shit on one

 

I had to go back to Culver's for cheese curds and a shake. Their straws are worth mentioning; they have good structure and don't close up under pressure so you're actually able to drink the shake.

 

I once went to a restaurant where the straws were biodegradable aka cardboard. It was weird.

 

It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I truly understood the appeal of Whataburger and now I'm kind of obsessed. Wish there was one within an hour of me, but then again, it's probably a good thing there isn't

 

I went to one yesterday because I was in a hurry. It was good.

 

Can't wait till I find one of these.

 

Whataburger is overpriced tbh I prefer Sonic

But tbh: I can't remember the last time I got actual food from a Sonic

 

I love Texas toast and you can get every menu item on Texas toast. LONG LIVE WHATABURGER!

 

There are no Sonics by me but they constantly play the commercials

If you go to Disney's Animal Kingdom, their straws are all biodegradable so the animals don't choke on them

 

Those Sonic commercials are like national institutions by this point. Just bizarre enough to not be annoying

 

I realized that In n Out is my favorite burger. I've only had it like 4 times though.

 

They also have the best shakes out of all the big chains

 

I do agree with you on that. Steak and Shake used to be the best until they started making them differently.

 

I only had shakes there a couple times. I don't care much for that place

Braums is also very good but then they're sort of an ice cream place as much as they are a fast food place. They're also only in four states
