I try and catch a game whenever I’m out here. Last night they did a random drawing by seat number for a free jersey and i was one seat away! I was sad cause the sharks jerseys are sick

just kidding. companies waste so much money on shit, but god forbid they waste it on something that matters like their employees.

 

Haha yeah for sure. Like i get his job is to save where he can...but the company is projected to be worth a billion by mid 2020.... he can afford to give us our own damn rooms haha. He is super cheap about 401k stuff and benefits. Like companies worth much less than us with just as many employees go to like Vegas for their SKO and all get their own rooms or they go like rent out Disneyworld for a day. I just want my own room! I don’t ask for much! Haha

 

for our employee appreciation week at my last job our boss was horrible with penny pinching.

The Fresno store had In N Out for every employee so basically burger and fries.

meanwhile the Clovis boss had deli sandwiches literally made from our work and I was like wow this sucks.

 

yeah, take my company for example we had one of our most profitable years in history and now layoffs are coming, they get the trump tax break and do stock buy backs with it and withhold more employee's bonus last year (I got $0 bonus while most people got their 10%) they also withheld more raises than before which was usually between 2 and 4% (I got 0 raise last year).

executives are only there to protect the company & executives themselves, workers don't typically matter much. smaller companies are usually better at taking care of their employees though.

it's cool that you get a trip at least. what do you do?

Yeah for sure. I do business development for a cyber security company. So i set meetings for sales reps that live out in Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina with companies security teams.

 

Their AHL team used to be in Worcester MA and I loved going to the games. I have a Worcester Sharks Hoodie and a Winter hat. I miss having an AHL team so close to home. Why the Providence Bruins are in RI is beyond me..Not like its far, but No one wants to fucking drive to Providence RI on a friday/saturday night.
