Haha I'm in the same exact position but I'm a coward and I think the VR will make me jump out my window.

Got to a point in Celeste where I was legitimately stuck. Looked that room up on YouTube and felt like a fucking moron that I couldn’t figure it out lol. (Mirror temple)

inquisition's combat is insanely fun but has a few quirks about it. i guess i'll start with what i like. playing as a dagger rogue, it feels extremely good and natural and rewarding. feedback from numbers and animations just feels right. having three other people helping you out is lots of fun, and picking and choosing your party offers flexibility but i find myself going with the same set up every time because of how cumbersome it can be to have to go through EVERYONE's skills and gear and shit all the time, so i find it easiest just to have to keep up with 3 and not everyone in my inquisition. i run with varric, dorian, and cassandra. maybe iron bull instead of cassandra sometimes. i like the option of being able to control the other members of your party but i absolutely never do it because i don't trust the AI to run my character the way i like to.

anyway some annoyances: i don't get how tactical view is supposed to work. it seems limited and (playing on normal) not really necessary to use ever. i just don't like the way it feels i guess, i prefer the more action oriented style of combat and tactical view just brings the game to a screeching halt in the middle of combat, which feels bad to me. im a little mixed on the way health works, or the lack of regeneration outside of combat and the complete lack of healing spells from any characters, relying only on potions. it makes battles feel way more dangerous if you're running low on potions or completely out but it can be annoying if im running super low and getting close to a quest objective wicked far away from any camp

Wasn’t the RE1 “remake” actually a polished up version of the GCN RE1 remake?

That RE2 Remake demo was incredible, I would be buying it day 1 if KH3 wasn't coming out the next week

I was speaking specifically about epilogue. But both are truly wonderful.

There is a wonderful trick Rockstar plays with the game that is one of my favorite things a game has ever done.

when re2 first came out, my cousin begged his mom for weeks to get it and when she finally got it he never finished it because it was too scary. his mom was pissssssed. i bought outlast for 5 dollars and never played more than 10 mins of it lmao, i feel like it might be the same with RE2 remake

i am certainly biased because i have loved the resident evil series ever since i first got a playstation, but i would argue that resident evil (when done right) is an altogether different experience than that of outlast. the earlier resident evil games were true survival horror and there is more of a strategic and challenging aspect to them. the silent hill games too. but if it isnt your cup of tea, its not your cup of tea haha. i hope it delivers though.
