Probably knocked loose too- think turnstile vein and KL are pretty much the future of "'mainstream" heavy music for the next little while.

 

Was there discussion on a tour from the RHCP? Could handle them at Great Woods in MA.

 

They’re teasing a new album, and touring Australia/New Zealand this year. I think they’re due for a tour soon

 

Id be interested in them. Its been QUITE a while since I Even THOUGHT about seeing them. I think all my girls would want to go - so a cheapish lawn seat over the summer for 4 would work :)

 

You know a person is of a certain age if they refer to that venue as "Great Woods." (And I'm talking about myself here too; that happens to me at least twice a year.)

 

I call it great woods even though I've only known it as the xfinity center, A better name I think.

 

Yup. Thats me. Old. Ill be 50 this year. Saw my first shows in Mansfield in the mid/late 80s with Bon Jovi and more.

By the time the 90s hit, I was seeing REM, Lollapalooza, Bowie, the Cure, New Order, all the 'Alternative Bands'... Clapton

Seeing shows there over the summer doesn't change. We saw Weezer/PATD last year (or 2 yrs ago).

RHCP would be wonderful to see them there. The lawn would be electric.

Bobb from Best Coast said in an Instagram Q&A that Best Coast is gonna be touring late 2019. Looks like a new album in the works too

 

I usually find my way down there at least once per summer (though I avoid it if I can). The name changes are getting ridiculous, though... I tend to call it "tweeter center."

 

Looks like Camp Anarchy added a few more bands: Iron Chic, Spanish Love Songs, the Bombpops, and La Armada.

I know it's just a few more bands on the smaller side of things, but fuck does that make it look way more enticing!

 

So stoked!

 

RHCP was my very first concert back in 2000 and I'd like to see them again but their setlists have been pretty horrible the last decade or so. I'd love if they started doing 2.5-3 hour sets and keep the extended jams to a minimum. They have such a huge catalog and 15-16 songs a night doesn't cut it anymore.

 

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. I haven't seen anything on it yet. I'd create a thread for it but I'm below the minimum post count.

I believe Periphery is playing due to their promoter saying there was a confirmed band out of a list of bands a commenter put on this photo and Periphery is free during this. Also he retweeted the Veil of Maya/Intervals tour about them playing so I guess they are somewhat confirmed.

 

So no Architects still... :(

Saturday usually isn't a common day for tour announcements. I'd bet on Monday.
