same, I usually listen to podcasts as background noise though
also I think pivot to video is dumb and still prefer reading stuff

 

what are some good episodes to check out for doughboys or hollywood handbook? I've always meant to check them out

 

True, when its an article I can read a headline or skim. You have to set time aside and stop everything you're doing to watch a video

 

Doughboys I would start at the beginning but I hate when people tell me that so you could just start from the most recent

Wendy's episode with Paul Rust is a popular one. Quiznos with Haley Joel Osment was pretty cool. Any of the live episodes with Jon Gabrus. Churchs Chicken with Demi Adejuyigbe. I liked the recent McDonald's episode with Sarah Silverman. Idk it's hard to remember what happened in a given episode beyond liking the guest

 

what @ChaseTx said for doughboys - starting from the beginning is usually recommended because there are recurring bits/jokes but you'll probably catch on pretty quickly so either start from the most recent/find a guest you like or wendy's with paul rust is a common recommendation.

for hollywood handbook it's a bit harder. i do kind of have to recommend starting from the beginning but it's not only reliant on recurring jokes but the show gets progressively more out there and wild as it goes on and it's probably pretty hard to get into the current show's style of humor when you haven't slowly built your way up there. pick early episodes with guests you like and see what you think (just not the pauly shore episode, it's a infamous disaster). honestly don't have a recommended standout outside of that, my personal favorite episodes are anything involving julie klausner and/or tom scharpling as guests who just completely get the show and mesh with the boys' style of humor perfectly.

also the rivalry between the two shows (mostly hollywood handbook towards doughboys) is just incredible.
