Looked to me like double brainfart, no way Nia could've taken a huricanrana but especially not from that spot. Sasha forgot she wasn't wrestling someone who was, you know, good at wrestling.

 

Definitely seemed like a planned spot. Nia even propped her knee up for Sasha to launch off of

 

I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time

 

I get why they want Charlotte and Becky in the Ronda match so they can "share" the moment for the rest of their careers, but man, Charlotte's character has been fucking up this feud since Day 1

 

Only excusable way she's in it IMO is to take a few crazy bumps to please some fans who want a spot fest. Which I think is actually really unfair to her, she should be wrestling asuka at mania.

Random observation/question about last night's Raw. With the tag team title feud, I feel like the roles are oddly reversed. Shouldn't it be the face team that gets screwed out of the win, but inevitably gets their rematch after the refs later realize they missed something? Two weeks in a row now Roode/Gable were 'incorrectly' declared the winners over The Revival. I haven't been keeping up as much lately but aren't The Revival the heels and Roode/Gable the faces in this feud?

 

If/when AEW goes under, historians will look back on this post and it will answer their question as to how it happened.

 

Normally I'd be excited that WWE is blurring the lines, but, the way they've done this has been really dumb. Especially when The Revival were also screwed by Lucha House party (also a face team) blatantly cheating.

As far as I can tell, nobody is face or heel because they dont care enough to write a real story.

 

WWE is clearly trying to tell some sort of story with the running gag of the Revival getting screwed. Commentary was putting it over big, especially Renee and Corey, and I think it was Renee who said it was a conspiracy of some sort. And now today the Revival are on Twitter about it being a conspiracy against them. Might not be a great story, but they're very clearly attempting to tell some semblance of a story.

 

Where are they streaming that AEW press conference today?

 

Pretty sure Being the Elite's YouTube is doing a live stream of it later.

 

Yeah that's def fair. I just feel like it makes more sense for the babyface team to constantly get screwed out of their championship opportunities. Then when they finally get the win it's an even bigger moment than just winning the first match. I guess I'll have to wait and see where their endgame is with this conspiracy theory storyline before fully judging it.

 

If there are no genuine good surprises at RR... WWE is dead to me.
