God what is it with Bird Box memes

 

Conspiracy that Bird Box executives created the memes as a way to advertise for the movie. They started popping up everywhere and it got people intrigued if they didn't know what it meant. Would be a genius tactic really considering memes are half of what Instagram is nowadays.

 

I wondered about that because no one really seemed all that thrilled with the movie itself after seeing it (I still haven't). The memes just exploded.

 

The movie was pretty much a slightly better version of The Happening (which stinks), but overall pretty meh.

 

It’s a weird hybrid of A Quiet Place and The Happening. I liked it but it’s not fantastic. A solid 7/10

 

About 7/10 is pretty much how I felt. I enjoyed it, definitely worth a watch, but I probably won't come back to it any time soon. Didn't think it was bad, didn't think it was amazing.

 

Yup felt worth the watch but probably a one time thing. I thought it would be scarier. I give it a 6.5 though, minus .5 for the MGK casting lol

I didn’t even notice that was him until you just said it. But it gets +.5 for BD Wong because he’s just an awesome actor.

 

My favorite part is that he didn’t even try to hide the fact he was MGK. It was like: “hey guys the world is ending, we need to get shelter, and oh there’s Machine Gun Kelly. Follow me!”

 

Turning 32 years old in 11 days and I'm still having dreams about blink-182 announcing a new album and releasing a song that sounds like TOYPAJ.

Some things never change.

 

On my "people to follow during a crisis scenario" list, MGK would probably be in my bottom five.

 

He was so just being himself I was legitimately surprised they didn't let him randomly freestyle about demons

 

So random, but I’ve always remembered this date for some reason. 16 years ago today blink moved into the mansion to record untitled.

 

Feldy was live on instagram, said they have been recording a lot of songs. That they have been creative and "pushing the boundaries of music" and that he "gets goosebumps just thinking about it".

He's probably exaggerating as he wants to promote the music he's working on, but it doesnt sound too bad to me!

 

Yeah I don’t really think a late career blink-182 album would push the boundaries of music but I’m still curious what they’re up to

 

I mean they were always honest about what they were trying to achieve with California so if they say they're trying to be more outside the box, that's good to hear

That what i was thinking, if it was another California i think he would say something like "the new blink rocks, its fun fast and catchy!"

 

Good to hear. More than anything I want the guitar tones to breathe and less auto tune on the vocals. Let Skiba fly!

 

That's what i'm most afraid of. It would have to not sound like a Feldmann produced album in order for that to be...

 

Odd question; but anyone got an autographed Blink guitar they want to part ways with? I just purchased my first home and that would be an epic piece to hang in my music hallway.
