I really don’t think the story is bad, or let’s say not bad for an anime-ass game

 

I wouldn’t call Fates story bad (especially the 3rd path after you complete Birthright and Conquest), but Awakening by far has the better story.

Fates is more streamlined and sleek gameplay wise, obviously having more features than the game before it, however Awkening is more grounded. If that makes sense

 

My new 2ds XL can play regular DS games right? Somebody at my work has a bunch of old DS games he doesn't care for because he doesn't have a DS anymore, one of them is The World Ends With You which I have ALWAYS wanted to play.

I've never gotten too into a FE game because I'm just so damn bad at them. I'll probably pick up the Switch version and try my luck.

 

Have you tried Awakening? You legit have to try to be bad to be bad at the easy mode

 

Same here. Playing the FE characters in Smash makes me wanna try a game out. With REmake 2 and KH3 coming out at the end of the month I'm not sure when I'll be able to lol

 

If you have a 3ds try Awakening. But yeah this is how I got started too, playing as FE characters on SSB made me check the games out

I'm a bit surprised it's still at $40 for a game that came out in 2013 (according to amazon)

 

Perhaps try GameStop. But yeah it’s one of those games that’s popular enough to not decrease in price much

 

Nintendo games really don't go down in price very much if at all

 

Sometimes you'll get lucky and see a good sale on the 3DS eShop. Keep an eye out and you might be able to snag it for a good price!

If anyone sees any crazy deals on joycons or pro controllers let me know! Mario Kart is just not fun using one joy con, your hand starts to cramp lol

 

I've never had a problem if I use the strap attachments, but I have small hands and don't play that game for a long time. I can definitely see how if someone has larger hands how joy-cons could be a major pain.

It's great for lots of kids, not so much for adults.

 

I’m very bad at them too, but Awakening and Fates make it really easy for you if you want, without making you feel like you’re not doing anything.

 

When I went to buy SMT IV a while ago, cheapest I could find a physical for was £60 lol. Went for digital at £18 instead

 

SMT IV kicked my ass so hard, immediately and repeatedly that I just ended up giving up and never playing it again lol

 

This is the only reason I got it. It was like half off or something like that digitally one day so I figured why not after hearing all the talk about it. Even used at GameStop it’s still kind of pricey.

You articulated this better than I could at the time I replied to you. That end boss just felt unfair right? I normally like to platinum these kind of games but left it at one playthrough
