I think I am the only gamer on the planet who never gave a shit about Zelda.

 

They said if you get the first four you can trade them for the glider thing.

 

Why not?

 

The shrines and adding more mechanics is getting me more excited for this game.

 

over 100 shrines plus full on dungeons.

 

The franchise could definitely do a good job of increasing her role and making her a focus and making people care about her more, but alas. It's something I wish they'd pursue, either a Zelda-centric game, or like stated before, one where you switch between characters for different story arcs.

Edit: I'm dumb. You meant the franchise haha. Oh well. I still mean all that.

I did mean the franchise, but I do know what you're talking about. I played them when I was younger but I never got really invested in them like I have been with other franchises. i'm 24 now, and I don't think i've enjoyed a Zelda game since I was like 13. But I have plenty of friends who LOVE Zelda.

I'm also the same with Final Fantasy. I know all the characters and storylines, but the games never kept me coming back. Kingdom Hearts had me more interested in them than their actual games.

 

I was one of those kids who barely paid attention when I was little and thought Link was named Zelda

 

As of the past ten years I think my tastes just really changed. I only ever get really sucked into a game when it's something fresh and new. Some exceptions are Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, Bioshock, GTA, Kingdom Hearts, and Battlefield. Typing that out made me realize I am probably a very morbid person and have not come to that realization.

 

We are opposite people. Zelda and Final Fantasy are my things.

Haha I figured. I don't knock them by any means, there is a reason why they are two of the most popular franchises today, just wasn't my thing.

 

I love everything they've shown of this game so much. Throwing an axe at one of those big laser shooting guys is so cool.

 

Yeah I get it, I'm the same way with GTA and Fallout/Skyrim. There's never going to be something that hits everyone perfectly

I truly wish Donkey Kong would have a reboot that is better than the Wii game they came out with. Might actually get me to consider the NX some day.

 

Have you played Tropical Freeze or Country Returns? They're great.

Zelda looks nice from the trailer. Unable to watch the stream currently. Don't know how I'm going to go about playing this Zelda as I have no plans of buying an NX.

 

It's coming to WiiU as well.

 

It has pro controller support which is just wonderful.
