    I'm Back.

Kind of avoiding the thought of Jamie dying, but then again he's a piece of shit for the most part.

  2. GoT is pretty good about killing off characters once their story arc is complete. Jaime is very much nearing that point.

Well the show paints him as more of a piece of shit than the books do. At least it's somewhat debatable in the books.

i tried googling it to see if i could come up with an answer about tommen's legitimacy post-cersei trial and couldnt find it, but does anyone know for sure if the faith is charging her with incest with Jamie or just incest with lancel? they both happened while she was married to robert, so the adultery charge doesn't help, and lancel confessed to having sex with her when he joined the faith militant i think.

I think it is only with Jaime, because she confessed to her sins with Lancel.

  6. I'm not sure if we've ever received confirmation for what, precisely, Cersei is being tried for. She was originally arrested under the claims of treason, incest, and regicide. She admitted her relationship with Lancel, but denied one with Jaime.

While they've said that the Faith cares less about physical proof than traditional trials, who in Kings Landing can make claims about Jaime and Cersei with any certainty? Anyone besides Lancel? Will there be a surprise witness?

Regardless... if found guilt of incest, even with Jaime, that would not be punishable by death. Treason and regicide, however, would be a different story. And Lancel can act as a witness against her in both accounts.

I'm pissed the Blackfish were taken out so early. Not sure how justice for the Red Wedding will happen now.

It seems to me, and maybe its more hope than anything, but surely Arya is going to have a big say in the frey demise. Hopefully she teams up with the hound & friends and nymeria.

I think Cersei is dead this season at the hands of Jamie. The whole Qyburn whispering about "rumors" to Cersei and the fact that I think Tommen is dead by the end of the season tells me this.

I'm starting to believe Cersei, feeling betrayed, will take some sort of measure to kill Tommen and will later come to find out Margaery had a scheme planned the whole time that he was in on. Once that's done with, Jaime will kill her for it.

I don't think Cersei dies for a good while. I could see her dying during Dany's invasion but I could just as easily see her being taken prisoner.

Also, if Jaime were to die, assuming this happens after Lancel, Tommen, and Kevan, I think that would make the Frey's the ruling house of Casterly Rock, as well as Riverrun.

    Might as well join in...

Brienne will be forced to kill Jamie with his own sword.

I would be amenable to either "travel time" or transposing to "time travel" in this statement.

She's one of the last remaining quasi-villains and her arc has made her less villainous than ever. She's sticking around until near the end.

Given Jaime's recent events, I think he either dies really soon, as in this season, or he has another major character arc and sticks around until near the end.

I haven't read the books. I know Jon Snow is less choir boy, Melisandre is more sympathetic, and Dorne's story line doesn't blow. Do you mind shedding light on the comparative portrayals of Tyrion and the Hound?

If that's the case, I'll be very mad for you having spoiled it. That's a painfully delicious plot line. Very Shakespearian. Props to you for thinking it. Better not be based on the spoilers that are out there, dick.

I just don't believe Cersei would kill Tommen. I know the sentiment of her being willing to do anything for her children has been beaten over our heads, but I do think this is what will indirectly result in his death.

  21. Agree. She would absolutely not intentionally kill him.

Cersei indirectly had a hand in each of her childrens deaths thus far. It would be poetic for her last child to indirectly die due to her actions in the most-direct way compared to the others.

I'll PM you in case anyone in here is currently reading the books or intends to read them and doesn't want anything spoiled.

    I'm Back.

Read a strange theory that The Faceless Men are all "dead", for lack of a better word...this would include Arya and would explain why she survived the way that she did. The counter argument would be that the Waif was sent to kill her, well maybe she didn't know that the Faceless Men are already dead, or wasn't aware that a Faceless Man couldn't be killed.

Arya drank from that pool that kills others, but it didn't kill her. She saw her own face on Jaqen, and unless I'm mistaken, only the faces of the dead can be worn.

    I'm Back.

People theorize about some strange stuff.

But fact of the matter is that we don't know how the Faceless Men actually operate and what the rules are.
