It's quite hilarious that the French aren't in the base game for BF1. It's not like there are maps set there, or that they had 6m casualties fighting in the war. Gotta cater to the Americans though.

 

It's quite shit and frankly, as someone who once aspired to teach US history and learned much about this, it's a total slap in the face. Like the literal line for the freaking war in Europe was in there but no, let's glorify doughboys and Germans because it's convenient for you to draw lines based on what people like to remember in history class. God, I truly cringe thinking about the campaign. I will literally bet that the campaign will revolve about those evil Germans and how it was their fault that this whole conflict happened, just like the Treaty of Versailles tried to paint it as.

 

After seeing the gameplay and then this its feeling less like a WWI game to me. I guess the French forces will be a DLC so they can justify putting Operation Metro 1914 in the game.

 

If it makes you feel better you'll definitely have people to play with on PS4, myself and a bunch of other Chorus peeps play on PS4.

On a related note, my PS4 stopped working last night so that's awesome. I tried literally everything I could find online, aside from taking it apart. It beeps when I press the power button and the blue light comes on for a second and then immediately turns off again, nothing happens on the TV.

 

My friends and I all downloaded Minecraft after not having played for about four years. It's still just as fun

 

this perfectly reflects my reaction to the Resident Evil 7 reveal. I love sony so so so so so much.

 

The majority of chorus people are on PS4. I have it on both PC and XB1.

 

Really loving Mirror's Edge Catalyst - I seem to be towards the end of the story and I like the twists and turns. The open world makes this so much better. There's more ways to get around, the combat is better and I like that there's no gunplay in this. The side missions don't feel tired or unnecessary and I've already completed them in 2 areas. The story is more interesting and the characters are more memorable and I appreciate having runner's vision when I'm truly lost. I like how challenging the gridnode puzzles are as well.

I bought BF Hardline, Flow and Deus Ex $90 edition for $101 or so today. Not a bad deal and they have a spend $100 get $15 back promotion on PS4 right now.

Hardline is probably worth the $4.74.... maybe

 

Hmm I'm tempted at Hardline...

Then again I played it for Free through EA Access and was terrible at it so I probably won't. Tons of great deals though!

 

I'm just gonna run through the campaign, maybe play some multiplayer.... (maybe lol)

Loved the Resi 7 demo. Seriously so excited they are going in this direction after 5 and 6

 

I guess I'm in the minority but I really liked RE5. Also verrrrrrrrry happy that they're going full horror for 7.

 

Zelda is going to be SO dope. Wii U Pro support wheeeeeeee

 

5 wasn't as bad as 6 but I wouldn't put it near 1-4

 

New Zelda is absolutely gorgeous, want it so badly.

 

I played the Doom demo last night. It was great, exactly what I was expecting since I've heard only good things and watched a bunch of videos. The glory kills feel so fluid, I love it. Probably buy it on sale since I have no interest in multiplayer.
