Not to take away from Italy's accomplishments because they played very well, but man Belgium shat the bed. It's like they gave up.

 

Italy were much the better side. True unity, they were solid and intelligent. Belgium had very good players but no leadership.

 

Disclaimer for armchair sports psychiatry, but not many of the Belgian players seemed like they cared very much besides Jan. He seemed to be trying to be the leader on the pitch without much of a response. Good thing Hazard's the captain..
