That's what a contract means in any of the markets. You get paid the best, you're getting paid like you're the best.

Just because the other people in his bad class sucked does not mean he deserves to get more than actual proven QBs. That's insanity.

I agree with this but he's gonna lean more towards success than failure, unlike Bortles. And that's ENTIRELY because of Nagy.

Hot take: We are WAY too reverent over injuries. Like, I agree that no one should root for injuries and that's not what this is about. But people get WAY too upset about small jokes related to sports injuries that aren't serious. It's as if cracking 1/4 of a joke about an injury or being happy that you don't have to play against a player is the exact same as personally giving the player CTE. We don't need to prepare a full eulogy for every injury.

 

Hot but unsurprising coming from me: QB is the most important position, not the most important player.

 

Anyway on the subject of injuries, hot take: Ryan Shazier will play again at a decent-to-high level.

Maybe but Trubisky is also the worse passer after year 2, and is a major injury risk if he doesn’t start protecting himself with his reckless running style

Personally, I think it’s a wash and that he doesn’t last past his rookie deal

Edit: or he will and we’ll look back on it and think it’s a terrible contract. I kinda think Pace sucks too so I wouldn’t put it past him to do something ill-advised there
