Maladroit is so damn good it makes me sad that it doesnt get much love. I was just looking at it's Spotify numbers and its probably their least streamed album.

This surprises me about Maladroit because I feel like literally everyone says it’s “underrated” and it makes me feel like it’s actually overrated lol

Make Believe has some bangers too but Beverly Hills tanks that shit hard

 

Like half of make believe is good and half of red is good

That’s basically the latter half of weezer’s disco

Their best complete album during this last decade is probably white

 

I think it’s literally their only album that didn’t have at least one big alt rock radio hit. Definitely part of it imo

 

EWBAITE is becoming underrated now? I remember when everyone loved it because it was their first good album in years lol. I still like it slightly more than White (but love both)

 

Agreed with this, White is great but for some reason this EWBAITE eeks it out for me

 

EWBAITE is pretty good. But there are some missteps for sure. “I’ve Had It Up to Here” has just never fit on that record for me. I despise the super meta “Back to the Shack”. And sometimes the songs can feel a little too much like fan service. The White Album feels much more organic, even when a couple songs miss (King of the World, TGFG)

 

I think TGFG is amazing. One of their weirdest songs that somehow works for me.

 

Is there some backstory to Two Broken Hearts? The comments are confusing me.

 

So they have a whole album ready for the guy who produced White that they might fast track after Black. That’s good news.
