pretty sure the song at the end of the credits was Jake Johnson as Peter H Parker, since he mentioned in his timeline he did the X-Mas album and all that.

 

I love John Mulaney voice so much that all I want is a full Spider-Ham movie.

 

This movie makes me wish that Sony would fully commit to making animated Spider-Man flicks and stop with the Venom-Verse they’ve been working on. I’m sure I’m in the minority of opinion on Venom though.

 

Why can't they do both? They're doing both. This year they did both.

I don’t know. One is one of the best films of the year. The other is not even remotely a good film. Again, I’m in the minority when it comes to the Venom flick.

 

If they're already releasing great movies you like, why's it matter at all what else they do? Watch the ones you like.

 

Wasn't the Christmas Album part of the very beginning Spider Man montage? Miles hears that album being played in his Universe so i'm pretty sure its Chris Pine.

 

I guess I just like to complain

 

This isn't a completely unpopular opinion, but it's not one I agree with. If I can get more animated Spider-Man, more crossover with Marvel Studios properties (as much as elements of Homecoming frustrate me), AND more separate live action properties like Venom & those other things in development... Yes, please. More of EVERYTHING.

 

Fair enough. I think Tom Hardy as Venom is great, I was just super let down by the film. Are you excited for Morbius?

 

I loved Venom, lol. Wouldn't have worked w/out Tom Hardy, but with him, it's as fun as most live action Spidey.

Morbius is built around Jared Leto, who I do NOT like, so that's worrisome. I'm rooting for it to do just well enough to get more Spidey deep cuts. I'll see it opening night, even if the trailers don't look promising. But, I'm not quite excited per se.

 

I didn't love Venom, but I'm also of the "more of everything" mindset.

 

I had to think about that gif for a sec, kinda remember what was going on. Out of context it's like he's asking for more pain. Yes, Neo, throw me around like a ragdoll.

Finally watched this last night, it was everything I hoped for and more.

 

I'm still laughing from Cage's "this is a hardcore origin story" delivery and I saw this days ago

 

checking the soundtrack and "Start a Riot" is hard as bricks, goddamn. perfect movie
