I love the new sharing music feature in messages on iOS 10

 

Can't believe the iPad 2 is still supported!

 

They will probably reveal dark mode when the phone launches or on an 10.1 update

 

The 3D Touch shortcuts on the control center are nice. You can select a low, medium or high intensity for the flashlight.

 

Can confirm that Apple Music is straight shit design wise

 

Wonderful. No improvement on functionality? Wasn't a huge issue with me before but I saw a lot of complaints.

I'm really looking forward to all the new 3D touch short cuts and the new rich features built into them - seeing that ESPN app demo was really neat

 

I understand that it's a beta Drew. I get that. The old UI to me was so much better than this. Maybe it's cause I'm on SE, but they've got to scale this text down before official release. It's fucking ginormous.

Jesus christ. People are allowed to complain about this if it impacts their use and enjoyment of them. Just like you're allowed to post your enthusiasm for them.

 

it's the equivalent of going into a studio that your favorite band is demoing out new music and then immediately judging the song off that first demo.

 

complain about it all you want when it's officially released this fall, when the company and its designers and developers have gone through everything over the next few months. Betas are imperfect hence the classification.

 

I get what he's saying. I don't have to use it seeing as it's a beta. Just my harsh opinion on a build that's not the final product.

Either way, I don't like the direction they are taking it.

 

I'll just leave it at this: I really really hope they make some serious revisions moving forward.

I knew I had a reason for not liking how the font initially looks haha.

 

One can complain about betas too. They're indicative of the direction a piece of software is heading. Hell the use of public betas is to get feedback. If no one complained during them the developers would be missing out on key user experience that could be used to make the software better.

 

I think those are the things I like the most. I don't use 3D Touch much right now, but it might change with iOS 10.

 

I'm submitting it to them as a bug, but yeah, I just don't like the direction is all.

 

@Chris Yates is there no way to change the font size in settings? That font looks like it's for the people who make one text take up an entire screen.

 

I've checked but couldn't find anything. My dynamic text is set to the smallest and always has been. I hope it's just a scaling issue that gets resolved, but all of the pics I have seen appear that's not the case and it's the design intent.

 

I REALLY love the Raise to Wake feature.
